Front tops off, all ball joints split and off.

front bottoms are seized in the bushes - nuts off - but won’t come out. Soaked in farmyards release agent.

rears - top links off - bottoms - nuts off - links seem very stuck. Again left to soak.

i feel a real grinder session coming on tomorrow

Hope you got some decent top ball joints. The ones I got from SJ only lasted a measly 4,000 miles, so I’ve fitted QH ones now.

I have nice new non sj ones - as decent ones were cheaper.

as were track rod ends and lower ball joints

I am surprised you put that mileage on them....or it may be the fact that you strip your car down so many times you wore them out...

I think I’m in the minority as I actually drive my car as much as possible. I bought it, four years ago and I’ve covered about 9,000 miles since then.

I struggled to get 1800 miles on my S4 between last May and now - not helped by having smashed a gearbox and pulling the lump out - oh and buying a knacker to put back together. Still that’s a lot more miles than many V8s go isn’t it @Chillidoggy

I think I have seen a similar group of parts at the local castle dungeons. Used in the 1600’s to torture the prisoners .
