Hi all, I was going to post about the black car on Pistonheads. I was very tempted to bid but wasn't keen on the colour and didn't expect it to sell for as low as it did. Looked like a really nice, low mileage car. I'm considering bidding on the yellow NA when it goes under the hammer in September with the bumper droop. Any thoughts on that car? I remember seeing at the dealer that was selling it at high 20's and thought the front end didn't look right and thought it might be accident damage.

Hendy Poole had it for sale for a long time when new or nearly new.

Told Hendy Exeter that this car was back on the market, Poole spec'd it and think they caught a bit of a cold with it. He was going to tell Poole that it was for sale again. His view was that it looked better in real life than it does in the photos.

I've always fancied the Evora GT 410's.
There's one thats been for sale at Portland Autos for a little while now and I was wondering if any of its previous owners are on here to share their knowledge of the car.
The cars reg is AU19 BLK

Thanks in advance

They need to reduce the colour tone on the interior pics. They seem to have loaded pictures without adjusting and that is unwise with vibrant colours. It's not misrepresentation to tone down a colour as photos just don't give the correct hue if left as snapped

Depends on whether they sell. ( also have my Elise up for sale) Not in a hurry but if they go I will be without a Lotus for the first time since 1973!  I will wait until the Emira i4 has been around for a year and probably get one.

Notice today that the gt430 at Hilton Moss is no longer on PH or AT - anyone on here bought it, or may be gone back to owner?

Pls don’t shoot me down be what’s the market like for Evora 400s at the moment?  Still depreciating?

I haven't seen much depreciation over the past 12 months in Evora's full stop @LotusFella. Indeed the GT430's have gone up quite a bit.

The market is slow, but then it has always been thus for the Evora.

God doesn't want me, and the Devil isn't finished with me yet.

The small print.

My comments and observations are my own, invariably "tongue in cheek", and definitely, sarcastic in nature. Therefore, do not take my advice, suggestions, observations or posts seriously or personally and remember if you do, do anything, that I may have suggested, then you have done this based solely on your own decision to do so and therefore you acknowledge responsibility and accountability (I know, in this modern world these are the hardest things for you to accept) for your actions and indemnify me of any influence, responsibility, accountability, or liability, in what you have done. In other words, you did it, so suffer the consequences on your own!

I remember a 400 selling for £36k in 2020. Tough to find one at that level now.

@C8RKH spot on, selling Evora is a specialist arena and most take time to sell. If you want your dosh NOW, Evora is gonna have to be cheap.

Not many Evora owners need to sell quickly.

I did a p/ex valuation a couple of days ago, in the Lotus Eletre configurator and my gt430 came up as £63k. - no way...

Do you think used Emira prices coming down will impact the Evora market much particularly cars at the top end (GT430 etc) end? I saw an Emira come up this week at £72k so I don't think it will be long before these start dipping into the £60k's.

On Evora market watch I see that the black car that went up for auction on Pistonheads for £32k is back on sale at £42k so assume it didn't hit reserve.

Emira is not comparable to Evora. Emira will attract a much wider audience and is mass produced - Geely I'm sure will try and make as many as they can sell. It will deprecate much like other luxury sports cars. And has deliberately been made to be like other luxury sports cars. That is the point of Emira.

Evora is a specialist sports car, low volume with a dedicated niche following, especially second hand (which they all are now). We'll never see it's like again, further adding to its appeal.

Only 8 previous owners. 🤣

To be fair some lotus especially Evora’s do go through a lot of owners and my NA was on its 8th owner when I sold it and at that time I sincerely thought it was the best NA on the market. Lots of money spent on it not just by me but previous owners. The amount of owners and miles recorded should not put potential buyers off and that’s from a person that’s had a good fair few new lotus and used cars from the brand. IMG_0413.jpeg.31b41ca3a6abfe9167b911728b083ef5.jpeg
