Max is only winning because he has the best car comments"

I would say that the way the RB is at the moment, Max could start from the pit lane and still win, at most circuits. Ferrari strategy was not as bad as previous races, there was virtually no way they would win unless the RB failed. Good first race for Nyck de Vries, a full time drive must be on the cards.

3 week gap till the next Max win.

Haha - yes Odious is a great word, I think he’s a utter w@@k@@

Max is on form for sure, so credit to him for the race win, and I do the think the car is right at the top the pile this year; Perez did well we’ll from P15 to P6(?) but didn’t seem to get much credit for that.

I liked watching MCS this race though, I really thought he was gonna bin at one point but he pulled the overtake instead - great driving!

I agree. Credit were it is due, he is driving with real control/measure/maturity.

Like him or not, Horner is doing a great job of making the rest look like amateurs. I had Leclerc marked down as the race winner, which would have injected a bit of hope into the championship, but once again, RB and Max were flawless, and thus unbeatable. I’ve given up watching the race leader, it’s more interesting further down the field!

It all goes in cycles, for the years of Hamilton / Mercedes’ domination Horner didn’t look too smart despite having one of the greatest designers of all time at his disposal.

Either way, I’m not that interested in the sport that much these days.

That’s been the case for the past 25 years, it’s the only place where the teams are more equal

Not a fan on the 2023 calendar that just came out...

FdGtYxIXgAIgdRm?format=jpg&name=small

24 races cause F1 is being nascarized, 2 Italian rounds because I guess Ferrari asked for it....  3 US rounds, one of which is Las Vegas which is a dismal track. 5 rounds in the middle east because petrodollars still talk a big game.  The last third of the season is going to be a logistical nightmare . No french GP, no German GP, at least Spa, Monaco and Suzuka made the list.

For some reasons Spain and Hungary still make the cut while their tracks do make for boring races at the best of times unless it rains...

RB cost cap....from FB  - Planet F1.

As rumours swirl that Red Bull have breached the cost cap, Christian Horner has told Sky F1 he is "not aware of major breaches" and is "very confident" in Red Bull's submission to the FIA, which was under the limit.

Max missed a chance to get pole, short of fuel...... maybe the budget cap has started to bite.

Shame about the 2nd Merc not getting to Q3.

If the FIA include the 'bonus' Red Bull paid to Masi in 2021, RB will definitely be over the budget cap.

Surely a few cases of that Red Bull shite don't put that much of a hole in your budget?

2024 it will be the F1 World Series. That's America for Ya!

Nah, there's more than 3 countries involved so would not count in 'murica as a "world series".
