They should just ignore it, with an 80 seat majority what are the others going to do? This is more about brexit as Cummings was the architect of it and the opposition remainers hate him.

Just gives the opposition, media and that thicko Blackford something to get their teeth into for a while.
What the fcuk would they do with nothing to moan about and try to blow things up out of all proportion. It’s their only purpose in life

That twat blackford was all offended and uppity about it on the bbc this morning. Living in England - I have no interest in what that prick has to say. He’s Scotland’s Trump and they can keep him

It's called quantitative easing - at least it was last time, only last time we gave it to the bankers and they used it to pay themselves some handsome bonuses.

This time at least people might a) need the money and b) actually spend it rather than put it into an offshore trust for their kids

It was actually done to stop the economy crashing. Not everyone who works in the city earns the huge wages that a few do.

So where did the Government get all the cash to pay 80% of wages to Britain's workforce?

Where it gets a lot of its money from. By issuing bonds and printing their own. You see they have a few printers stashed away that churn out millions of the stuff. Funny that

We are in a very strange economic time, where institutions etc actually bought bonds from the UKgovt and agreed that at a future date they'd get back less than they paid for them. That just doesn't happen in anything like normal times.

Mine lives with us.  Anyone has a foolproof method, I'm all ears.

Seriously, though, I'm loving every minute of it (except having to avoid the kids/grandkids)   The world is a nicer place, nature is regaining ground, the sky isn't full of vapour trails, the air smells nicer etc. etc. etc.  Easy for me to say as we're in an advantageous position, financially, as are all our kids.  But I appreciate it cannot continue.  I just hope it will all just slow down a little for the next few years, and people will learn to value what matters.

Seems there is increasing "evidence" that COVID19 leaked out of a Wuhan laboratory that was funded and supported by the French with Barnier (then Foreign Sec) driving this. Despite warnings of poor Chinese bio security and a loss of French control (which happened as predicted) the French pushed on.

Interesting take on where it came from. I only have one source for this (British Tabloid so not reliable) so we'll have to wait and see if it is true .

The relentless ad nauseam saturation coverage on Cummings is another press witch hunt. Plenty of other people have done the same, they are just not as famous or as apparently disliked.

Perhaps the press can’t find other more newsworthy items ...

Most of those ‘other people’ probably didn’t have a hand in setting the rules in the first place.
