I was perusing the ever interesting How Many Left? site and wondered how many V8s were still around. This might well have been done before but I also looked back to the various web sites that cover production and knocked this up:

So in summary, 1,502 V8s were made, 262 stayed in the UK, of which there's 169 on the road and it looks as though we have only lost 6?

Looks like I never got around to posting here either!

I have a 1977 S1, originally red "self colour" gelcoat, but sprayed (very badly) yellow prior to my purchase.

Chassis Number 7612 0226G 

Engine Number CC7 7612 13316

Car is currently undergoing restoration. New fuel tanks, radiator, fans, fuel lines & pump, fuel sender unit and plenty more already done. Main job left is repaint and interior trim.
