While my wife was on the train on her way collect the keys to the new Range Rover Sport she was given by Mobility so she can collect her benefits and go shopping, some big fat gobby knob-end only had the cheek to tell her to move her bag off the seat next to her.

Dunno what the world's coming to.

I find a eye contact a filthy look and then a look at the bags usually does the trick. Rarely have to actually say anything.

Usual bus frequency is 3 minutes. (And they are always full in rush hour) 15 minutes later with queue 50 metres long bus turns up. Decides to terminate there and turf full bus off. Who promptly fill any remaining capacity on the next one. Cue long wait. 

God I can’t wait to retire and move north!

LOL, I have a few years left yet and will also require a garage of comparable proportions to the house. Our youngest is 13 so by the time she leaves school it will put me in my 50s, but we’re thinking more like Yorkshire than Scotland. Besides, if I found myself in a place where I could be influenced by the evil crankie I’d end up in broadmoor.

But the act of speaking is deliberate, that way hopefully others will hear and do the same. of course, if she refuses it's even better as then it's just a  matter of lifting them off for her (unless she has purchased 4 tickets).

I think the Altair Green is a stunning color. AWas thinking of doing the Lotus Ekup in Altair but think it needs a slightly darker color. Where's the pics then.

Brexit, the total Hash May and her team have made of the negotiations when they could have saved everyone the pain and just had a hard Brexit 2 years ago. Plus the fact that it has divided the country. Despite being an Avid leaver I can't help but think putting us all against each other was intentional to hide the total cock up they knew it would be.

That and the continued relentless attack on Brexit by the BBC who obviously have an interest in remaining and couldn't be "neutral" if it slammed them in the face.

Finding our neighbour stealing our firewood! Our lovely neighbour who I have bent over backwards to help out over the past years, who's father in law is a multi-millionaire, who's father in law bought them the 1 million pound farm, who have had their kids put through some of the most expensive private schools in the land, who bugger off on very nice holidays have deemed it OK to redirect our contractor to place a significant part of next years firewood supply onto their land instead of cutting it up and placing it where we had specifically directed him.

We caught him out whilst it was being done so I suspect a reasonable amount had already been squirrelled away. I cannot believe how someone would consider this acceptable behaviour. Even the sodding contractor was unapologetic about his involvement. When queried about this our neighbour had the cheek to say he was doing the contractor and us a favour as the weather was not very nice and he was going to put it onto our land at a later date. F'in Liar. I am sorry but to me it just beggars belief.

The news story that was around yesterday but has just been on the news about 3 people fighting with two police officers and one doing a karate kick on the female officer following a routine car stop.  Lets have a bet as what they individuals will be sentenced to.  Some pathetic community order I guess.  The country is so pathetic the BBC news even stop the film before the karate kick makes contact, probably in case they offend someone or someone sues them in 30 years for showing violence on TV before 9PM and they have not slept since.

 

Can I suggest we give these morons an absolute minimum of 20 years in prison.  And I don't mean prison with beautiful TV's and gymnasiums. I mean a proper prison.  Let their families bring them food or they starve to death (And do the world a favor)

 

What is wrong with this country.  Ill tell you but I would be everything under the sun according to the do gooders these days who quite frankly make a significant contribution to the mamby pamby state we have created.

Having to finally succumb to a medical problem and very reluctantly put my beloved Evora up for sale.

All due to the DVLA‘s inflexible approach on cancelling driving licences on medical grounds. An approach which has not changed for many years and certainly has not kept up with advances in modern targeted therapy. Looking as though it could be over a year before I get any joy from them

Finally fitted my carbon binnacle, had it since end of August. Snows Plymouth taking 3 weeks to attempt a fitment quote, I got the hell in with it when they asked me to bring the car in so they could have a look at how to do it. Shocking service, considering a 2 minute google found me a guide.

Now I fitted it, the finish wasn't perfect, one of the tabs didnt line up so had to bend it and hope for the best, furthermore the OEM shroud doesn't fit in like it does with the OEM cowling so needless to say it looks daft. 

Emailed eliseshop and hopefully we can come to an arrangement.

So tell me I am wrong here. I am properly 😡. So Commander ( the wife) puts her BMW into the main dealer for service two days ago at £495, she then rings me and I think that is ok as it is a major service. Luckily they now give a paper invoice, I would normally just stick it in the file, job done. 

But had a couple of boring phone calls to do so start looking through it, two bald front tyres as in illegal, both sets of brake pads below 3mm and front discs below what they should be. Now my missus can do interior design and is bloody good at it but a car is a car. 

So I finish phone call and ask the question, “ what did they say to you when you picked it up” answer, “ nothing”. It was washed though 😯

So she picked up the car, got told nothing on page 3 is £1300 of work not even mentioned so we didn’t even have the choice to do it. Yesterday I went ballistic at the service manager, it was like stabbing blunt forks covered in vinegar in to my eyes. So as I am speaking to him I notice on the invoice the MOT is up on the 18th of this month, did they mention that, no. 

Anyway got the tyres and brakes being done next week for half that cost at a specialist, then Mot at Halfords for £25 

what is wrong in my eyes is my wife Drove out of there in an illegal car she would have never looked at the invoice and been happy in the Knowledge that all was well.
