I would probably spend the £2k on the lower mileage, newer car which isn't press fleet - but you'd want to see both in the flesh before making any decisions.

Dealer (red car) vs private sale (blue car) though.

FWIW, that private seller is trying to sell his car for the same price that he paid to Will Blackham a few months ago. This is probably just one of the reasons that it is still for sale.

Also on the Pistonheads forum there is talk of another S1 SR coming up at £49,995. This time Pewter Grey IPS. Can’t find the add yet though.

Someone has just advertised on here an auto Hethel Edition at 43.5k. Seems very very cheap to me, someone has to snap that up. I'd want 9-10k more for my manual in the current market!

I suspect that he will receive a full cash offer from a dealer within hours. The car will then reappear later for £50k.
