I'm not sure I'd do any mod. until my nice new shiny Emira was out of its warranty period. It gives Lotus a cop out should it need to go back.

Not that I'm in the lucky position of having a nice new shiny Emira 🤣

It's all going quiet on the forum now...Guess we are all  just waiting  for further announcements....base edition detail and cost, I4 versions to come through...

For me just waiting  on the base edition I4 detail in the now slim hope I can get one

I messaged lotus to ask when base edition  detail, pricing  etc would be available  as may want to get in the queue depending  on pricing but as expected  reply was hopefully  details available  in the next couple  of  months 😀

I asked my local agent about something similar and in case the V6 FE was going to be the only V6 manual edition to be made.  Or even if/when there would be a manual GT with more power.

Yep, the Artura's a stunning piece of kit but the price is eye watering. I'm still seriously enjoying the Mac, the GT's the best car I've owned,  but the I4's especially temping while I wait for Lotus to announce the EV Esprit... a guy can dream right?

Lotus is all you'll ever need in a sports car, truly exceptional dynamics for a bargain price.

McLaren though is another step up of brilliance. It's a shame they don't make a cheaper 300bhp Woking Wonder. I know why they don't - the figures don't stack up.

Very true, McLaren have changed their product line a lot in the past couple of years, no more entry level Sports Series, future models will all start above £200k, eye watering for most folks.  I'd love to have seen a sort of McLotus, Mac provide the chassis and some additional tech, Lotus package in an affordable package. Be a good way for Lotus to get back into F1 too! Dream on...
