is that the dark gray? one or two look a bit DV, then the rest look gray

those seats seem to be in shocking shape already! I hope they aren't final production quality.

Yes it's Shadow Grey.  I really like the diamond cut wheels - getting them on my Hethel Yellow one and didn't think they would necessarily work with the Shadow Grey.

Seats are rather worrying.  After all the effort that has supposedly been put in, those look saggy already.  But I don't think they're the production spec ones, as they haven't got the 3 bars on the back.

Credit to Mike Rysiecki for the safety car pics this week and of the Seneca Blue safety car at Oulton Park a few weeks ago.  He's very lucky to be able to get up close with these and the race cars.

Glad I’ve gone alcantara, although I’ve only ever had leather before, so wasn’t wholly confident in my choice.

pic of my Macan at 34k miles. Seats still in really good condition, although admittedly I don’t drive round a racetrack in it!

Sorry if I missed it but has there been any discussion on what colours on exterior and interior options there will be when the base model becomes available?

Hopefully Lotus will open it up to choose any colour option like in the previous models.

I want a yellow one but can't bring myself to order it in the flat colour available on the first editions, would much rather have a funky metallic.

Keep in mind that a dark gray cloudy overcast day is not the kind of environment where paint colors are going to pop and stand out.  They're reflecting the dark overcast above them.  They're all going to look brighter and stand out more on a sunny day.

I wasn't aware Orange was an interior color option😒

These seats look like they're covered in glove leather.  That particular color is often seen on expensive driving gloves.

I noticed you're in Idaho.  Are you getting an Emira?  I'm down south of you near Boise.  I ordered one through Park Place in Bellevue, Washington.

Of course. But when have you last seen the sun? 😂

It's interesting to take into account though. From the pictures I've seen so far, the yellow and grey both look great rain or shine. The blue looks (to me) better in overcast than sunny conditions - with the reverse for the red.

Been on vacation, not sure if this one had been posted yet, but here's a few colors side by side (credit: Van der Kooi's facebook page)

No idea about color true-ness, the blue seems a little dark compared to reality (as it does in most pictures, which is too bad because I like it more in pictures than in reality). Don't think the red is the red I want either, no chance of seeing it in the flesh though. So I guess shadow grey is still my choice!

The grey one is also the only color it seems where the front panel gap doesn't stand out atrociously 🤷‍♂️

Kan een afbeelding zijn van 4 mensen, staande mensen, auto, weg en de tekst 'ENIRA I FOR FORTGRIVERS T. RIVERS :E :ENIRA EMIRA'

That front panel gap includes a rubber seal, I've seen the yellow one close up.

There are due to be 7 extra colours for Base Edition alongside the 6 existing First Edition colours.  Strong rumours the extra ones will be:

  • Meridian Blue (Metallic)
  • Atlantis Blue (Pearlescent)
  • Cosmos Black (Metallic)
  • Osmium Silver (Metallic)
  • Vivid Red (Solid)
  • Zinc Grey (Solid)
  • Aspen White (Pearlescent)

There will be a base interior with a mix of cloth and technical fabric.  Leather and alcantara versions will be cost options.  Whether that will include extra interior colours isn't something I've found out so far.  Base Edition details are due to be published in September.

Thanks Tom, choosing the colour combo is certainly proving the hardest part, I guess whilst still refining the build process they won't be too keen to open up the option to go with any colour, back to the configurator for me then.

I thought the yellow looked fantastic, to my eyes better for being flat rather than metallic as it accentuates the lovely deep mustard tone. Seneca is lighter than it appears in the photo above, but it seems to vary a lot depending on the light. This pic from the factory opening is a pretty good representation of how it looks in bright sun. I was surprised by Nimbus too. It looks a bit beige in some photos, but it looked lovely at the factory.  Shadow Grey is my least favourite, but even that looks great with a red interior. There really isn't a duffer among any of the FE colours.

Didn't like the red leather which was what I was originally going for (with Yellow exterior) when I saw it.   Looked too "lipstick" for me...

As long as it's a tarty shade it'll suit me fine 🤣
