But remember one thing: don't lose your head to a woman that'll spend your bread: Lotus Turbo Esprit (89-11); Lotus Esprit GT3 (12-14): Lotus Evora S (14-17); Lotus Esprit V8 SE "UK Last 15" (18-23) Lotus Emira FE 400 (23-..)

Those figures seem quite slow? Aren't the top end Evora's quite a bit under 4 secs. to 60 mph???

Nope they won't be, they are hinting at low 4s, it will take the Sport/ R or GT model to go below 4sec.

Nice of Lotus to share updates on the production delay with those that have saved hard in order to buy an Emira and put down deposits before blowing smoke up Schmee's backside. I guess they think our blind faith is inifite, I for one am getting a little tired of this approach.

Its called marketing 👍

I don’t normally watch a lot of his content, but that was enjoyable. I’m rather glad I did, as I’ve had my eye on a yellow NA1 NSX the past week or so which would have meant pulling the Emira deposit.

Anyone else noticed the horizontal panel gap in the front of the "hood"? I never noticed this on any of the earlier published pictures, but only on this specific car... It looks a bit too wide for my eyes.

Ah, is it a rubber seal? I also now notice it on the pictures of the red Emira that Pistonheads posted on Instagram. Would be very glad to hear that its actually rubber and not a panel gap 😇

It's a rubber seal. That access panel opens forwards, i.e. hinged at the front....

Unashamedly ripped off from the Lotus Web Site, but to me, this GT4 from this angle, in white just looks, well, sumptuous. I hope as the Emira develops we get the chance to see road going models based on the real world GT race cars.  That just might get my wallet opened for one. I even like the spoiler which is bloody unusual for me!

If I was going to get one, I have to admit that these two photos of the green could quite easily tear me away from the Magma Red.

Picked up from another site. Think Nimbus without the Black Pack does look classy.

Mmmmm, now that does look really nice, I guess the red interior would work quite well with that 🤔
