Future of Lotus

Matt Windle  said the SUV was the size of a Porsche Cayenne which is quite large so probably not related

edit: followed by a small SUV - That must be  a long way off?

No photos? Was there no badges on the car. I’m glad I don’t live near Hethel.....I’d be camped out at the entrance to Potash Lane!!😂

Get that camera on standby for next time😉📸

Had my lunch in a local layby just to get a pic.

Didn't see the green one but got these.

If this is the future we’re doomed! Thankfully I don’t personally believe for 1 minute it is. We all know  (for know...se hope!🙏) that the Lotus SUV, will be a much more elegant, radical looking machine. Could this vehicle be a mule though?.......looks incredibly bland in every way!🥱
Thanks for giving up your lunch though.......good work👏🏻👏🏻 Lotus Emira pics next week please......😉

That is an 01 SUV  by the look of it front engine ICE so not much of a mule for Lotus as it would not help setting up the ICE of type 131 but as a Geely brand Lynk & Co might enjoy some suspension tuning  from Lotus prior to Lynk & Co vehicles launch in the UK and broadly speaking in the EU.

🤔 I guess I'm late to the what3words party. It's not necessarily intuitive. Still perhaps simpler than putting in some coordinates or an address and easier for voice control, but someone still has to pick it and tell you what it is for you to enter and find. I would not have before thought of Hethel's doorstep to be hotspots.punters.race but of course will now.  Just chalk my doorstep up to old.f@rts.club  😵

See, at £50 a pop to "name your square" what3words could be swimming in cash!

Therefore, do not take my advice, suggestions, observations or posts seriously or personally and remember if you do, do anything, that I may have suggested, then you have done this based solely on your own decision to do so and therefore you acknowledge responsibility and accountability (I know, in this modern world these are the hardest things for you to accept) for your actions and indemnify me of any influence, responsibility, accountability, or liability, in what you have done. In other words, you did it, so suffer the consequences on your own!

Currently being investigated as apparently it uses plurals which can be miles apart. So what.three.words and what.three.word both exist but at different locations. A mountain rescue recently got sent to a location miles away. In the end they used GPS on the phone to locate the casualties.

Problem is with homophones - words which are pronounced the same but have different spellings. Plurals are also difficult to distinguish when in stressful situations. The simple solution would be not to use plurals or homophones but I guess then there wouldn't be enough words?

The problem is going from the spoken word to the written word. Problems mentioned above by @oneshot and also a lot of people have problems with spelling, others have problem with typing.

It's not so much a problem if you are in a situation where you can copy and paste.

It's the same problem with easting and northing co-ordinates on the current national grid reference system.

Liz and I had a budgie that could say that. I still have a recording of it. I'll have to find it. He was a great talker once he started. We used to put him on the kitchen bench with a stainless screw. He used to push it around with his beak. Because of the head, it would roll round in circles. He used to chase it round for ages.
