In brief - it turns the true life 1960’s Space race into a low key study of grief (imo) and speculation not fact.

Always do sober what you said you'd do drunk - that will teach us to keep mouth shut!

Yep it was good but made Armstrong out to be a boring so and so. When you look up pics of him there plenty of him sharing a joke. The fact he never spoke much after the landing is probably why he was chosen, they didn't want someone who was going to go off the rails.

Did make you realise how brave they were to sit in those tin cans.

Here’s a very left field movie that I always watch when it appears on a tv channel

The Quiet Man 1952 John Wayne

a quaint movie set in innocent age lovely story of someone returning home and feeling out of place then a love story interrupted by one of the great fight scenes which was comical as no one got hurt !

Perhaps that taste of movie made me love Forest Gump similar innocence theme

Free Solo: If not discussed already here, see this. On National Geographical channel, Ch 129 I think.

'Free Solo' is not a Star Wars movie. Or Man From UNCLE.

Went to watch Fishermans Friends with my son last night. Easy watching, charming but also I think it captured what I would "think" hardened, proud, Cornish fisherman would be like.

Generally the casting was spot on.

God doesn't want me, and the Devil isn't finished with me yet.

The small print.

My comments and observations are my own, invariably "tongue in cheek", and definitely, sarcastic in nature. Therefore, do not take my advice, suggestions, observations or posts seriously or personally and remember if you do, do anything, that I may have suggested, then you have done this based solely on your own decision to do so and therefore you acknowledge responsibility and accountability (I know, in this modern world these are the hardest things for you to accept) for your actions and indemnify me of any influence, responsibility, accountability, or liability, in what you have done. In other words, you did it, so suffer the consequences on your own!

Oceans 8. About as good as the new Ghostbusters which was utter mind bending garbage of the worst kind 1/10. As a huge fan of the other Ocean movies it not only seems wrong to be cast as an Ocean's movie when the original cast aren't in it.

Did I mention Bollox?

All we know is that when they stop making this, we will be properly, properly sad.Jeremy Clarkson on the Esprit.

I have to it looks great, but i am also a little lacking of where all the starwars timeline is now ?   It says the story is coming to an end in the clip, hopefully this means Disney will put more money into the Aliens film franchise that they have just purchased and get some of those films out quickly also  :)

Despite my children being named Luke and Leah, neither I nor my wife have watched a Star Wars film, ever.

So you have turned to the Dark side young Padawan!

Rewatched Goodfellas, fantastic Film, but always though Ray Liotta made Henry Hill seem more likeable then he really was.
