Agreed great day, had a bit of a disaster on the way back stopped in the high street and some twat backed into the side of my car luckily only caught the back bumper f&£King annoying. I don't think he could see it as it is so low but he also didn't bother to turn his head and he did have parking sensors and I really hate him a lot. Going to have get it resprayed. 

But top day and good to put some faces to names.

Dan, it was good to meet you and your car, that thing was one of the stars of the show, sorry to hear about what happened later, I'm just glad it's only the bumper.

I had a nice run home with Dave's Evora gracing my rear view mirror most of the way. I've really got to stop thinking about that 1900cc supercharger now, I didn't use the full rev range in any gear once!

I can highly recommend the Sunbeam Lotus rally stage, great fun. Best £15 I spent all day (and there were a few!)

Jonny sorry for not spending a bit more time with you just my boy was itching to have a look round. Thank you it is lovely, gutted yours wasn't there. It was very lucky I could have been a whole worse if I had been 3ft back.

i made a few boo boos I parked on the ramp, Bibs called I moved it then Brooke pointed out I had parked in the show and shine. Talk about cause trouble on your first time out. 

I know I know Rick but his Elite and Fabian's S1 were the cars of the show for me mind you how nice were the Lotus Cortina's

Agreed, I enjoyed it, even though I didn't know who anyone was and I get awkward around new people, so I didn't talk to anyone apart from a guy parked next to me with an LF1, but yes, beautiful cars! Will be going next year!

Another great Lotus Festival, despite us coming to a halt on the M25 due to the alternator exciter wire bring dislodged by me whilst tightening the belt the previous day. 

 Still, at least I now know that an S4s will run for 50 minutes on a non-charging battery. The symptoms include the driver wondering why the temperature gauge and oil pressure gauges are reading low, and the wife's interrogation as to the cause before he's even had a chance to pull onto the hard shoulder. Odd misfires then ensue, lack of power, and eventual engine ignition failure.

Thanks to @Sparky and @internets Esprit rescue team, a jump start and shoving the connector back on the alternator saved the day.

Large turn-out, better than last year, and some very, very nicely presented cars. Thanks to Bibs and all those who organised the event, you did a great job.

Great to see so many lovely cars. Thanks to all who put work into the organising to make sure it all ran so smoothly. 

Wave to the red s2 elise with a white stripe who we followed up the a12 on the way home.

We got very wet on the a140 in a thunder storm as too stubbon to stop and put the roof on. Another great day to be a lotus owner. :-)

Fantastic day - thank you Bibs - my headlights even started working again when I got back to London - I put that solely down to the car soaking up positive Lotus Festival vibes all day!

After a very stressful week at work the two days at Brands was the perfect tonic.

Great to meet the people behind the names on here, and as always the friendliness and Camaraderie of our special Marque came out to play.

Thank you Bibs and your team. I tried a couple of times to say hello but the determined look and legs just a blur suggested 'now' wasn't a good time. I hope you enjoyed the weekend as much as we did.

Sorry mate but it's a busy weekend! I stopped counting the times my phone rang when it hit 75 at midday on Saturday, first one being 6.55am! 

I had a brill weekend, and a very big thank you firstly to those who helped out and also to everyone who came along. First time we've filled the VIP car park (approx 300 cars just in here on Sunday) and Martin from EALC counted up to 825 before it got too confusing, we certainly had over 1,000 cars in the circuit It wouldn't be a Lotus Festival without you lot.

Don't know where else you can see a Lotus Six, Evora 400 and almost every model in between. Very fitting that it's along Colin Chapman Way.

Just to say as well, cheers Bibs and everyone involved  for organising another fantastic festival. Even my misses enjoyed it apart from one stand we walk past where she made a sarky comment...... Although what's she got against yellow Eclat's I don't know.........

Sorry @JayEmmI was there only on Saturday. Was godfather to my nephew yesterday, so couldn't attend.

 

think we had the better weather on Saturday but equally, I think Sunday was the better day for event/timetable
