The V8 was put on dyno but its IP belongs to HWA I Believe, it was good for 600bhp + in base tune...  They could have gone with any number of gearbox as the engine bay set up allowed mechanical, automatic and DCT.

All the details in this week's Autocar 😀

So a hint of a truth at last... An Exige class and an Esprit class to replace the Evora and leaving the Elise to posterity. Hum it really is JMG's masterplan.

The silhouettes are a bit reminiscent of his era to me. The aspirations much the same so as well. Many folks thought he was crazy at the time. Such a shame the cars he presided over were shitcanned.

Only here once

Agree, they looked really good and distinctive. To me the Evija, while spectacular, is too far out designwise, hope the new 131 type is more grounded, especially so if they call it Esprit. Wouldn’t like to see an Evija ‘light’... the cars shown on the autocar cover leave me cold, tbh.

It was a very exiting time perhaps if the millions had kept coming......

Maybe I am completely wrong but doesn't that looks a bit like the 131 headlights under the car covers poster earlier?

(although I reckon it would be "a bit" odd to have it there first before the official presentation :D)

I would say the headlights look slimmer and there are wheels air vents that don't (?) exist in the Evora?

Thats just a standard US Evora GT in the picture. The vents over the wheel are from the GT430 and that was carried over for US GT.

The dash is Evora 4xx dash, standard front cover etc.

God doesn't want me, and the Devil isn't finished with me yet.

The small print.

My comments and observations are my own, invariably "tongue in cheek", and definitely, sarcastic in nature. Therefore, do not take my advice, suggestions, observations or posts seriously or personally and remember if you do, do anything, that I may have suggested, then you have done this based solely on your own decision to do so and therefore you acknowledge responsibility and accountability (I know, in this modern world these are the hardest things for you to accept) for your actions and indemnify me of any influence, responsibility, accountability, or liability, in what you have done. In other words, you did it, so suffer the consequences on your own!
