Esprit Market Watch

Local chap just completed his full restoration of an S2 and the degree of attention it draws is fittingly substantial. On shakedown drives he is regularly approached, sometimes flagged down by other drivers. One hasn't seen GG Esprit of any sort motoring about for years but Lambo's, Maclarens and whatnot are ho-hum commonplace. There is value in our cars inconsistent with the market, plenty of punters with more money than brains, or at least taste.

The oil pressure (gauge/sender/wiring?) looks a tad suspicious to me. Engine just before it's started (plus the pressure reading lowers when the revs increase) :
