Love Scotland. For me my relationship with it is like France.

I love both countries, but the Politicians in both drive me to distraction

They are piss poor. Short sighted. Dimwitted. Etc

The SNps preoccupation with Independence being everything, the route to a land of milk and honey for all, is just nuts.

My plan B is progressing. Had a house viewing recently, only 20 miles from Cadwell Park too

Sssshhhhhh, don't tell the wife....

Good luck getting your bags packed without her noticing.

Fine, I'll self fund some treatment. As long as you refund me my paid in contributions from the last 30 years, which i now won't be drawing on. Seems fair..?

I didn't want her to know as she would have packed them for me by now! 😱

Imagine Scotties surprise when I turned up on an MLOC run! A pound for the picture anyone.

God doesn't want me, and the Devil isn't finished with me yet.

The small print.

My comments and observations are my own, invariably "tongue in cheek", and definitely, sarcastic in nature. Therefore, do not take my advice, suggestions, observations or posts seriously or personally and remember if you do, do anything, that I may have suggested, then you have done this based solely on your own decision to do so and therefore you acknowledge responsibility and accountability (I know, in this modern world these are the hardest things for you to accept) for your actions and indemnify me of any influence, responsibility, accountability, or liability, in what you have done. In other words, you did it, so suffer the consequences on your own!

I'm gonna Ressurect this after a couple of weeks of inactivity.

I really do think there is no way in a month of Sundays the Conservatives will get anywhere near the votes to get elected next. And lots of Tory MP's seem to agree as many have said they aren't standing at the next election. 13 so far and many big names of the party like Savid Javid and Harriet Harman.

I think they have shot their bolt and pissed off so many people. My issue is who to vote for?

The only question is the size of the defeat. I have a feeling that despite the lack of quality of the opposition, that the Tories will have a defeat on the scale that will make 1997 look like a triumph.

I have certainly had enough of the rudderless government.

Even Ken Clarke says it's time the Tory's had a rest.

I've no idea who to vote for either.  I won't be voting for our current socialist Tory government.

Best position currently for any major party politician “The Opposition” The world is in total disarray and I don’t believe any party in power worldwide is being praised by their people’s…. (Russia excluded as Putin has his own ways for control) for their current performance. The primary faults lie elsewhere. first China, currently Russia. It is and always has been world events that create crisis and no single government, whoever they are can do enough to weather it. Will a change to party in power solve it?

Anyone else notice how the latest Chancellor Jeremy Hunt seems to take unnatural pleasure in announcing bad news? All of his predecessors have always spun an overly optimistic tone (especially for the period after the next General Election), but Hunt just uses his interviews to say the Economy is in bad shape now and will only get a whole lot worse for everyone! I guess he’s trying to lower pre General Election expectations by playing Bad Cop to Rishi’s Good Cop.

Anybody see the shadow levelling up minister make a complete fool of herself on b’fast TV this morning?

She was a glowing example of why Labour will have real problems when they win the next GE. She was unable to argue any point in a constructive manner and instead just jumped on to the bandwagon of “let’s criticise the Tories at any cost”

TBF Charlie did pin her down when she tried to to use the same answer to a different question that she had already used twice for different questions. All she could do was follow a previously rehearsed script.

She bleated on about the usual, the North of England is woefully neglected by the Tories but the stand out bit of her responses for me was that she criticised the government for expecting regional councils to have to apply and justify why they need the projects they are bidding for. “Regional and Local councils just don’t have to time that this takes” she kept insisting.

I’m afraid that this is when either the interviewers weren’t bright enough to really pick her up on what she was bleated NX on about or they started to follow the BBC agenda. Why didn’t they point out that local businesses are required to do just the same when they are applying for Council grants. They have to justify to the council why the grant and project are needed.

Labour really do need to get a front bench with capable and intelligent individuals if they are going to succeed.

Apologies for the long rant, I just can’t abide interviewers who don’t (or can’t) put politicians on the spot by making them give straight forward intelligent answers
