My dad used to be a steward at Leicester City’s Filbert St ground back in the day. Frank Worthington was the star man in the Leicester team. One day England manager Alf Ramsey came up from London to watch him play. After the match Alf asked the LCFC chairman if he could get a lift back to the train station. My dad offered and drove him there in his MG Midget.
