Le Mans looks lively

Well, not really. I was enthralled watching it on Eurosport yesterday and then it started to rain and a few cars crashed on slicks. Out came the safety cars, everyone headed in for wets and then spent the next 2-3 hours trundling around behind the safety cars until it was bone dry again and they all came back in for slicks. Really disappointing and just the sort of thing you would expect from F1. I felt really sorry for the low downforce Peugeot team who were banking on assistance from the rain and sure enough took the lead as all of this was happening but were then prevented from extending their lead by the safety cars. Hoping for a Ferrari win!

I just had the Le Man's experience driving through a terrible storm. I couldn't see and the car was floating at about 20mph... Let's not talk about the hail stones and bow waves from other cars... However, when the storm cleared, I spotted this rare beast and pulled up for a pic.

 

It was quite amusing as people were taking pictures of the 8c then of the Evora and the 8c and I'm not sure many of them knew what either car was.
