But not the Evora.....

I came into this world screaming and covered in someone elses blood. I'll probably leave it in the same way.

The small print.

My comments and observations are my own, invariably "tongue in cheek", and definitely, sarcastic in nature. Therefore, do not take my advice, suggestions, observations or posts seriously or personally and remember if you do, do anything, that I may have suggested, then you have done this based solely on your own decision to do so and therefore you acknowledge responsibility and accountability (I know, in this modern world these are the hardest things for you to accept) for your actions and indemnify me of any influence, responsibility, accountability, or liability, in what you have done. In other words, you did it, so suffer the consequences on your own!

Motoring history shows that there are cars that factories couldn't sell only latter in time they became quite sort after.

Remember an EV prototype EVORA was made and in the EVORA case there is more a legitimate reason for conversions to EV latter (😱) Try doing this with a Dancing donkey, Yes there is lots of other cars out there that could be converted. ONLY issue in the UK an EV conversion removes the classic status.

And the second Lotus article in a fortnight on some other minor motoring website. Amazing how many people have realised there's not long left to scratch their itch, so to speak.

Hendy's website no longer lists Elise FE/Exige FE or any Evora available to order, the only car listed is the Evija.

They have a bit of Evora stock! Don’t think it is worth discounting them as they won’t have much else to sell for the rest of the year.

image.jpeg.096b35b012e54ad3657dca6aa074586d.jpegThis is the pic used by autocar, they didn’t get the memo that the Evora had been airbrushed out like unwanted weight and wrinkles on the cover of Vogue. Sorry, you are too big for the picture....

I am surprised we have not seen any photos of unusual Lotus here and there with mottled camouflage paint jobs yet. I guess though with their own track, very few get to escape to other venues.

I guess it looks enough like a 488 that they just slapped a Ferrari sign on as camouflage and no one noticed... 😂

Manufacturers often collude with the freelance photographers and magazines to get "spy" shots out to a planned timetable ahead of a launch, as part of a teaser campaign.  Lotus are no different and are starting to feed them out.  This one is from last month and expect more over the next few weeks.

that shouldn't be so difficult, don't think there is one government department that doesn't have a tap dripping, including those where all in the dept. have signed the OSA!

I’ve been told by a very reliable source that we should expect to start seeing ‘spy shots’ some time next month.

Maybe because the car will be testing abroad like IDIADA, Nardo or The NS were a lot of 'spy' photographer tend to hang around.

I’m sure many of these pre production and so called ‘spy shots’ are very carefully planned by the manufacturer concerned in order to ramp up the excitement about a new model.
Works for me and I’ll be looking for these spy shots with great enthusiasm. 😁
