Realised I didn't post a piccy, so here you go, nightfall with silver wheels. Not the same wheel type but close enough.

If you look up @Ericski he has some pictures of his (that looks nightfall) with silver wheels.

@Ericski what a wonderful combination. A stunning, beautiful car you have there. No, I am not jealous at all. Honest. :)

God doesn't want me, and the Devil isn't finished with me yet.

The small print.

My comments and observations are my own, invariably "tongue in cheek", and definitely, sarcastic in nature. Therefore, do not take my advice, suggestions, observations or posts seriously or personally and remember if you do, do anything, that I may have suggested, then you have done this based solely on your own decision to do so and therefore you acknowledge responsibility and accountability (I know, in this modern world these are the hardest things for you to accept) for your actions and indemnify me of any influence, responsibility, accountability, or liability, in what you have done. In other words, you did it, so suffer the consequences on your own!

I'm lucky the Parkway guys took some great pics and left them online, then also couldn't believe my luck when that actual car came up a few months after I started searching & settled on that spec.

To be fair, I think with the black pack on nightfall blue, you're best off with either black or silver (or I'd be tempted to see what a satin bronze looked like...).

I believe your car is the one Will Blackham sold last year, to someone who really needed an IPS & resold it fairly quickly?  The year before that, alongside mine I was trying to hunt that particular one down after seeing an old Lotus Silverstone ad.  Enjoy! 👌

Yep, it is the one Will Blackham sold, I saw it then and thought it was a bit beyond what I wanted to pay.  Hence was surprised when it was advertised again, for the same price, a few months later by a private seller.  Of course, I thought "he's having a laugh, at that price", then after watching the market creep up for a few more weeks, I changed my mind.

In Jan 2017, I shook hands on an immculate avg mileage Black S, @ around £34k.  The seller pulled out just before I was due to collect it; when he offered me it again a couple of months later I decided against it.  Always looked back and thought I could have sold it for what I paid, although I saved 3.5yrs of running costs.  I decided not to hesitate too long this time.

Yes, Lotus Silverstone took some great pics and left them online, stumbled across the ad a couple of weeks ago and relaised it was my car.

@21gg Beleive it, or not, I didn't find it too hard finding pics of yours, stunning car.

I’ve an ex-pupil (car mad) who Passed a fortnight ago I promised a ride to if he passed who only lives a miles from you. He couldn’t believe there was a 430 residing so close to him and he hadn’t seen it.

So when are you thinking of that, as if I knew when and where you might happen to stop in a car park somewhere..........Does he know there is a Lotus retailer in Exeter?

Yep, 2015 NA SR in Nightfall Blue with (quite rare) Venon Red interior.  Wheels professionally refinished in Hi-Power Silver, and the dodgy black rear badges replaced with (much more tasteful!) "chrome" versions... mmm mmm...

Took the SR on a 4 day tour with a supercar club. Everybody was impressed with the real world performance on the British B roads…

My heart wants to keep it when the Emira arrives but my head disagrees 😳

If anyone's looking for a white '14 S IPS Sports Racer here's early notice that I'll be transferring to the less-exclusive Emira i4 FE club later this Summer so please PM me if interested - as soon as I have a more concrete build date (yes, I know......) It'll go on lotusforsale.com before anywhere else 😉

Also a former 996 owner. I've been wondering how many Evora S's and or Sport Racer S's were there in the UK?

I've also embarrassingly got no good photos of it yet!

Not many - see the grab for how many Evora S of each type are currently taxed. SORN are about another 20%.

But however you look at it - it’s a rare car. Not many more than 100 manual Evora S on the road. That makes it rarer than my old 996 40 Jahre which was a limited special run!

I think @Bibs quoted numbers previously, but I can’t find them 🫢

HowManyLeft is always a good indicator, but isn’t bob on (you can see how many different variants are listed).

from this - Sports Racer numbers are (in the order of)

55 manual supercharged

24 manual NA

19 IPS supercharged

4 IPS NA

This totals 93, but I am sure I the number I saw previously was just over 100 manufactured.
